Art of small things

I take time off from my regular nitty gritty and sneak into another world of colours, design and art. Am not an arty, 'jhola tango' person whom you find in art galleries. My art is in the ceramic plates I paint, the bedcovers I choose or the way I maintain my desktop. Small things inspire me, satisfy me.

I browse through fellow bloggers and find interesting things which I share thru mails and now because I have this haven I will like to put up here, with all due regards to the artist and the host blogger.

post it like soccer!

thts wut ghanians would have done, with the soccer fever on! The CAN games are up and the whole country is red, gold and green. Anyone interested in knick knack collection will appreciate this season.

I have found things like wigs, fake nails, slippers, clothes, ties, bracelets, scarves and underwears... yes! in ghana colours. The craziness of the match can only be seen and understood. When I initially came here, I questioned their feelings towards their country and the flag; but now when I see the passion, I am mum. Its almost fatal. A flag fakely positioned on Sania's feet caused tremors but here, my fellow beings are roaming in tri-colour over the pants 'superman' underwear.

If I had to write about fashion and fads, Accra will be my fav haunt. Yeh, but tri-colour is never outta fashion here just that it grows brighter with the soccer.

Unsure of what the content is going to be, I start the blog today. The reason is my thirst to remain with words. words which have been my passion, my profession. As a whitesoul I take in whatever has surrounded me. the colours of people, the sounds, discussions, the assumption and the complexes. I do wonder if anyone ever will read my posts... I am a white transparent soul, dont like to make myself loud; even if am not audible, I dont mind. I survive for myself and welcome whoever is comfortable in my company.
